This Privacy Policy describes how LocalPilot ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and services. By using LocalPilot, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
- Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash — never in plain text).
- Business profile data: We collect the Google Business Profile information you connect to LocalPilot, including your business name, location, and review history. This data is used solely to operate the service on your behalf.
- Customer interaction data: Review text, review solicitation responses, and NPS responses collected through LocalPilot are stored to power AI responses and reporting.
- Usage data: We collect information about how you use LocalPilot, including features accessed and actions taken.
- Payment information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or payment details on our servers.
How We Use Your Information
- To connect to and manage your Google Business Profile(s) on your behalf
- To generate AI responses to Google reviews in your brand voice
- To publish Google Posts on your behalf according to your schedule
- To send review solicitation requests to your customers
- To generate reports and analytics on review performance
- To process payments and manage your subscription
- To send service-related communications (alerts, billing, security)
We do not sell your data or your customers' data to third parties. We do not use your data to train AI models without your explicit consent.
Google Integration
LocalPilot connects to your Google Business Profile via Google's official APIs. We request only the permissions necessary to respond to reviews, publish posts, and retrieve profile data. You can revoke LocalPilot's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account settings. Revoking access will disable AI response and posting features.
Our use of Google APIs complies with Google's API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

- OpenAI — AI review response generation. Review content submitted for AI processing is handled under OpenAI's API data usage policies.
Data Retention
We retain your account data and review history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information and connected business data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@localpilot.com.
Security
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. Google OAuth tokens are stored encrypted. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice in the application.
